Company Overview
Atomicity Systems is a Silicon Valley start-up that provides advanced atomic layer deposition tools and services using its patent pending technology. Atomicity was founded in 2004 to develop the next generation of atomic layer deposition tools for the production environment. Additional markets for ALD tools and services are emerging and additional opportunities exist. Specifically, research and development as well as contract service opportunities exist and appear to be growing. Atomicity is working on a 300mm production tool, which is backward compatible for 200mm, for the high capacity production environment. Atomicity’s superior technological approach puts it in a position to lead the industry.
Management Team
Eric Antonissen, Ph.D.
President and Founder
Dr. Antonissen is the founder of Atomicity and is the inventor of the Atomicity Systems ALD technology. He grew up in Riverside, California and received his B.S. in physics from the University of California at Riverside. He attended graduate school at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon and received his masters in physics and his doctorate in physical oceanography. He has worked as an optical fiber manufacturing process engineer, senior equipment and principle process engineer in ion implant, and as a senior development engineer, consulting engineer, and project manager for a semiconductor yield management company. He holds one patent in ion implant beam line design and has two pending patents; one in spatial yield analysis and one in atomic layer deposition tool and method.
Meg Luttrell
VP of Business Development
Ms. Luttrell joined Atomicity in 2006 as VP of Business Development. She successfully started two businesses over the past decade, Bayla Furniture and WellPressed, LLC. She has also worked in product and direct management roles in high tech as well as traditional service industries. She holds a B.S. in economics from Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA and a MBA from Stanford University.
